There are 18 new cases of Covid-19 today. All in Auckland.
The information was released via statement from the Ministry of Health.
2 of today's new cases are yet to be linked to existing ones.
Of yesterday's 16 cases, 8 were deemed infectious in the community, creating exposure events which have been added to the Ministry's list of locations of interest. These can be found here at the Ministry of Health site.
12 people are in hospital, of which 4 are in intensive care.
Overall, the total number of cases in the community outbreak is 1165. 951 are recovered.
There is also 1 new case at the border.
