My phone was making me sick: Escaping the doom scroll

"It is designed to be addictive. The techniques that are used in the design of social media are the same things you would use in designing gambling."

The boys explore the grip of social media and the internet, learning mindfulness tools with mental health organisation The Kindness Institute to reclaim joy and disconnect from their screens.

ALLGOODS is a new six-part docu series made by Paki Productions with the support of NZ On Air.

When Toi realises his wellbeing is out of balance, he ropes in his mate Pab to come along for the ride. What starts as a personal check-in quickly becomes a kaupapa; a raw, honest, and often confronting exploration of what it really means to be well as young Māori and Pasifika in Aotearoa today.

"When someone asks me how I am, I want to be able to mean it when I say I'm allgoods."

Watch now on TVNZ+ and YouTube.
