I had to heal before I could make art again

"While my whare tapawhā isn't in perfect harmony, it’s in a much better state than before. It feels like I can actually live in here now."

Toi dives into his creativity, reconnecting with his art and whakapapa through korari and muka (flax), as he reflects on and wraps up the lessons he’s learned along this journey.

ALLGOODS is a new six-part docu series made by Paki Productions with the support of NZ On Air.

When Toi realises his wellbeing is out of balance, he ropes in his mate Pab to come along for the ride. What starts as a personal check-in quickly becomes a kaupapa; a raw, honest, and often confronting exploration of what it really means to be well as young Māori and Pasifika in Aotearoa today.

"When someone asks me how I am, I want to be able to mean it when I say I'm allgoods."

Watch now on TVNZ+ and YouTube.
