How I got over my fear of being a ‘plastic Māori’

Toi confronts his cultural identity struggles during the 2024 Toitū Te Tiriti hīkoi, discovering how his connection to his tuakiri (identity) directly impacts his hauora.

"It hit home how important connecting to our culture is for our hauora."

ALLGOODS is a new six-part docu series made by Paki Productions with the support of NZ On Air.

When Toi realises his wellbeing is out of balance, he ropes in his mate Pab to come along for the ride. What starts as a personal check-in quickly becomes a kaupapa; a raw, honest, and often confronting exploration of what it really means to be well as young Māori and Pasifika in Aotearoa today.

"When someone asks me how I am, I want to be able to mean it when I say I'm allgoods."
