Today there are 103 new cases in the community. 

There are two in Northland, 86 in Auckland, nine in Waikato, three in Bay of Plenty, one in Lakes District, and two in Canterbury.

The Ministry of Health is also reporting one case in Taranaki and one case in Nelson-Tasman that will be officially added to the case numbers tomorrow.

There are 61 people in hospital, with three of those people in intensive care.

The average age of people currently in hospital is 52.

94 percent of New Zealand's eligible population have had the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, and 89 percent have had a second dose.

91 percent of fully vaccinated people have now downloaded a My Vaccine Pass.
