Colonisation stuffed our diets. I’m learning to eat like my ancestors did
"Everywhere we look, there's a shop on a corner with a pie.”
Toi and Pab explore why healthy food is hard to access in Aotearoa. They share their own food struggles and discover the strength of community support when visiting the Kai Ika Project, which rescues fish heads that were previously going to waste.
ALLGOODS is a new six-part docu series made by Paki Productions with the support of NZ On Air.
When Toi realises his wellbeing is out of balance, he ropes in his mate Pab and the @riffraffnz run club boys to come along for the ride. What starts as a personal check-in quickly becomes a kaupapa; a raw, honest, and often confronting exploration of what it really means to be well as young Māori and Pasifika in Aotearoa today.
"When someone asks me how I am, I want to be able to mean it when I say I'm allgoods."
