After going into self-isolation on the 16th of March because he and his flatmates all have autoimmune diseases, poet Dominic Hoey decided to write a poem a day on Instagram.

His humorous updates on life in quarantine, like running out of weed and his dog being constipated help bring a little relief into chaotic times. His advice for getting through the quarantine is, “It's like being on the dole, you’ve got to slow everything down. I think the problem is that when people first go on the benefit or they work remotely or are unemployed, they expect to have the same level of stimulus and activity that they normally do.”

So here is one poem for every day that Dominic has been in isolation, except for Day 1 because he didn’t do a poem on Day 1.
