You probably didn’t vote in the local elections but it's not your fault

“A lot of the people who are in positions of power can now see that that turnout is so low that it's no longer morally justifiable.”

Only 4 out of 10 eligible people voted in the recent local government elections, and young people were even less likely to vote. 

But experts say the system is broken, creating barriers between young people and engagement with local government and elections.
