Students tell us what polyfest means to them

After four years of disruptions, Polyfest is back with performers showcasing their culture with pride and passion to celebrate the festival’s 48th year.

This year’s theme is ‘mana motuhake’ which translates to creating one’s own destiny and there was a lot of energy going around with politicians and even the Prime Minister getting amongst it all.

Our Re: News team was there too, so we got Symone Tafunai to ask the performers what Polyfest means to them while also getting a run through of some mean dance moves.
