There are 27 new cases in the community today, 22 of them are linked to known clusters.

There are 22 people in hospital, three in intensive care.

The total number of cases is 1,295.

The Ministry of Health released today’s data in a written statement. Officials are calling for people in seven Auckland suburbs to get tested, with or without symptoms. The suburbs are: Clover Park, Māngere, Favona, Manurewa, Mount Wellington/Sylvia Park, Henderson and Papakura.

There have been no unexpected results in wastewater testing.

Yesterday there were 47,512 vaccine doses administered. In total 3,308,253 people have received their first dose of the vaccine and 1,960,807 have received their second dose.
